Game Freeze

So my game seems to randomly freeze in vista mode nowadays. Think it's because of shockwave. Tried uninstalling reinstalling shockwave and sfo yet nothing seems to work.

I like playing in vista mode simply because I believe it to run smoother for me than online or smallwindow.

Hmmm,

My bro, did you try not updating shockwave? Because usually (at times) adobe will try to send you a update to your shockwave player to continue to run your SFO. If you clicked yes, then it may freeze your sfo loading, If not, then it should bring up your loading SFO news, etc; Could this method be the problem, my bro? feel me?

Uninstall Macromedia shockwave, any duplicates of the program as well, there will be a folder left over after the uninstall named " MacroMed " ( Search My Computer > Programs / windows32 - I forget where it is. )
Delete this folder completely.

Restart your computer, visit the SFO main HUB, download shockwave 8.0 from the site and install, do not update.

Run SFO web version from the main site, allow to completely load.
Log in, log out, close the SFO web window.

Open the version of SFO you usually play under.

See if this resolves the issue, if not, come back and let us know.

Yeah, seems like the only thing I can do. Though I didn't know about macromed was only deleting folders called shockwave.

Deleting macromed is a work around for a couple things.

Won't know until I play a few games.

Can't get into the web version with shockwave 8.5. Says I'm missing a component that stops shockwave from downloading on the web version.

Can play on small window but not vista.

Strange. For me the vista work and not small window. Try web version again after you open the smallwindow. It will prompt you to say "Accept this video". Click accept and it should work again.

Small window only works with 8.5. Web and vista use 10 or higher. Once the web/vista versions download a shockwave, small window no longer works.

So once you upgrade, still no vista?

I thought vista was automatic and replaced the small window d/l version.
I'll see if it works fine for me when I'm home

Have to manually upgrade and that seems to be the problem. Net works fine, just choppy. Vista still freezes.

SFO doesn't auto update shockwave when I'm on 8.5.

If you use the newest shockwave then vista works.

8.5 doesn't allow me to run the vista or web versions.. Forces me to upgrade to 12.1

Yeah I know, but I remember it automatically updating for me when on 8.5 and then starting up SFO web/vista versions.

Smallwindow is slow, dont have it anymore since I updated to 12.
Web is choppy, what i use now since it works without freezes
I got vista version back but it still freezes xD
